For the implementation of the project, for which he is jointly responsible, he requests project-specific materials and evaluates the offers. His goal is to plan and realize potential savings. He is also responsible for supplier management. He supports the areas of development and production with the introduction of new products, technologies and materials. He also clarifies technical queries from suppliers.
Another area of ​​responsibility is the data maintenance of the material and supplier master data in SAP or another ERP system. In his position, the project buyer reports to the purchasing manager.
The prerequisite for this position is at least a completed technical or commercial vocational training as well as several years of experience in purchasing or sales.
