Job Description Manager Controlling & Finance

The Manager Controlling & Finance is responsible for four major areas: corporate accounting, corporate planning, and investment and financing. In addition, he manages projects within the finance organization.

Part of the job and the typical tasks of a Manager Controlling & Finance

The job of the Manager Controlling & Finance includes the analysis, preparation and interpretation of data from finance and business intelligence – also in the context of ad hoc inquiries. He also directs the creation of the regular Group Reports and develops them successively.

He compiles meaningful key figures and sets targets in consultation with the departments. The management of the company’s financial resources through meaningful cash flow forecasting is one of his tasks, as is the provision of appropriate control information for the use of funds.

He is also responsible for effective cost management in cooperation with the relevant departments.

For this position, entrepreneurs expect a very good degree in economics, mathematics or another relevant subject. Excellent knowledge of MS Excel is also required. For the legally compliant implementation of his work, the Manager Controlling & Finance needs knowledge of accounting according to HGB or IFRS.

We are looking for personalities who work in a structured and independent manner and have a high level of analytical comprehension. In addition, the job holder is characterized by resilience and a confident and committed demeanor. Employers usually require several years of professional experience and good to very good foreign language skills.
