Located in Socorro, New Mexico Tech offers a variety of engineering programs and degrees. The university’s College of Engineering is divided into several academic divisions, including mechanical engineering, civil and environmental engineering, electrical and computer engineering, chemical engineering, petroleum engineering and materials science. The college also has its own research center – the Center for Advanced Technology (CAT) – which specializes in energy technology research. Additionally, the college has several research centers that specialize in different fields such as nanotechnology, energy systems, bio-engineering and materials science. All these facilities make New Mexico Tech an ideal destination for aspiring engineers who want to pursue their studies in this field. Additionally, New Mexico Tech also offers several student clubs and organizations dedicated to furthering their knowledge in the field of engineering through networking opportunities and hands-on experience activities. Furthermore, the college has several internship programs available for students who are interested in gaining real-world experience in their chosen field before graduating from New Mexico Tech with an engineering degree.
