Job Description Employee Quality Assurance
The Quality Assurance employee achieves higher product and process quality by analyzing and improving internal and external processes. To do this, he selects the appropriate test procedure. This job is often found in the automotive industry or medical technology, but also with real estate and asset managers. The range of tasks therefore varies from position to position.
The job and the typical tasks of an employee include quality assurance
As part of quality management, the employee takes over part of the incoming goods inspection. He creates initial sample test reports and 8D reports. 8D means the eight obligatory disciplines (process steps) that are necessary when handling a complaint in order to solve the problem. In the event of a complaint, the 8D reports are exchanged between the supplier and the customer. Error analysis based on technical drawings and circuit diagrams is an important part of his work. He oversees the quality management system and develops it further. He also works on the optimization of manufacturing processes.
In his work, he organizes and implements, among other things, the so-called FMEAs (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis, “Failure Mode and Effects Analysis”, or “Effects Analysis” for short).
The position is gladly filled by people who can prove that they have completed master craftsman or technician training. But a technical degree is also a good prerequisite. Employers want experience in quality assurance and a good knowledge of English. In addition, he should master MS Office, SAP and/or Lotus.
The Quality Assurance employee has a structured, solution-oriented way of working and should also have excellent communication skills and a high degree of initiative.
