Job Description Account Manager
The account manager is the contact person for customers in a company. He represents the interface between the supplier and the customer, primarily in the wholesale and retail trade. He is responsible for the implementation of the company’s own service or product concepts and represents the company to the customers. The account manager can specialize in a specific service or area. These include e.g. B. Delivery and assembly, repair service or warranty issues.
Typical duties of an account manager
The account manager works in the customer service and customer support departments of a company. He deals with the processing of warranty claims, accepts complaints and processes inquiries and orders. The account manager must have a thorough knowledge of the products and services of his company.
